Another monthly musings has arrived to your inbox! Hello friend!
The fall weather is approaching us quickly and although I’m sad to bid goodbye to summer, I do love the season that brings us warm soups, pies and mulled wine.
I’m also here to bring some super exciting news ~ at least for me it is. I’ve shared previously that I absolutely love food, comparing myself to the great Anton Ego from Ratatouille. In the last few months, I’ve saved probably 100 recipes and my Instagram feed has essentially just become a massive digital cookbook; tons of great dishes just gracing my eyes everyday. So, it’s no a surprise for me to announce that a new newsletter is being added On the Verge, welcome Kitchen Diaries!
Kitchen Diaries will be about home-cooked meals, dine-out experiences, and my thoughts on food-related topics. I’ll share a recipe that I’ve tried that week and I encourage you to join me for a discussion. Hopefully this will inspire you to try a new recipe! If it does, let me know about it. You’ll get a Kitchen Diaries post every first and third Wednesday of the month. The first post you’ll receive next week Wednesday to give you a taster of what’s to come!
If you have any cookbook suggestions or recipe questions my DMs are always open @natcrx.

As always, share your monthly muses with me below! What has brought you joy this month?
Five things I consumed this week:
The Harvard Gazette - ‘To sleep, perchance they dream?’
The Cut - ‘My Average Life Is Smothering Me’
Feeling It with Alex Kate - ‘But do you actually like, LIKE it?'
Lindsay Nicholson from Life, Loss - And What We Ate! - ‘Love means never, ever forgetting’
James Breakwell’s - ‘Blood and Cadillacs’
I love the idea of Kitchen Diaries! As you know I love to talk about food, so I’ll be there 🤣
Waking up in the middle of the night when it’s raining is one of my favorite things. Something about it is so comforting.
Thank you for the link! And another delightful list - I need to eat more plums.
Couple of things from my month: moving some things from the 'to do' list on to the 'long list', and reading The Bone Season.
