Hey, hi, hello!
September is one of those months that always flies by and you don’t really care much about it because it’s an ‘in-between month.’ In the words of the band Green Day ‘wake me up when September ends’. This month was so much of a blur between the chaos of my nan dying, the change in weather, a baby shower, weekends packed with lunches, brunches and on-my-feet activities. No wonder I’ve gotten to the end at a crawling pace.
So since it’s such a blah month, I’ll give you a fun fact about it before we kick off this month’s musings. The name “September” comes from an old Roman word, “septem,” which actually means 7. September was the seventh month of the year on the Roman calendar – It did not become the ninth month until the advent of the Gregorian calendar.
Okay so, musings this month!
1: Thunderstorms
2: Rainbows
3: Falling asleep immediately when you climb into bed
4: Chasing sunsets
5: Pumpkin spiced latte and Pumpkin Foam cold brew (which actually tasted like dirt) but I had to have it because tis the season.
6: IKEA on a Friday night.

Someone recommended this Starbucks alteration to me and it’s changed my life this fall:
Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew
Remove the vanilla syrup
Add one pump of apple brown sugar syrup
I swear it’s so much better -- all the fall deliciousness without the cloying sweetness of the original version.
