On the Verge is a free weekly newsletter shared every Sunday at 3pm.
You can also share excerpts of today’s On the Verge on social media, forward it to someone who might benefit, or text it to a friend. Thank you for reading.
When I first set out to write this newsletter, it really was just a place to write my thoughts, share my personal stories, a place to posts my lists and discuss the things I thought were worth talking about. Of course, as any writer does, I had lofty goals of what I wanted to achieve with this space, but I never really thought I’d achieve them.
Early Monday morning, I awoke blurry eyed to an handful of new subscriber emails. I had finally surpassed the triple digit milestone I had been snail-pacing towards for months.
I’d like to bring you something a little different this week. If there’s one thing that I’d like to see more of, it’s a community. I share these personal stories and thoughts as a way to connect with readers and writers — a mission to feel less alone. In the spirit of new readers joining, On the Verge is opening up a space on Substack Chats. We’re often left feeling like we’re talking into void when we’re commenting on Substacks, but with chat, we can have a proper conversation.
I’ll post thoughts and ask you guys questions to know what’s going on in your lives. I encourage you to jump in on the conversation at anytime.

To join our chat, you’ll need to download the Substack app, now available for both iOS and Android. Chats are sent via the app, not email, so turn on push notifications so you don’t miss conversation as it happens. Jump into my thread to say hi, and if you have any issues, check out Substack’s FAQ.
See you over on Chats.
